I got a call about little Zoe yesterday -- her owner rescued her as a puppy, and has had her ever since.
In his prior job, she accompanied him to work every day and was a very good girl. As can be seen from these pictures, she is good with other dogs.
Recently, her owner has a new job as a limo driver and he never knows his hours, so he is left no option but to adopt her out -- and is trying rescues before he takes her to the dog pound, where her fate is certain and grim.

He writes:
"Zoe is a healthy, sweet, 6 year old pit mix. She's fully house broken and leash trained. She's wheat colored, has a great disposition and loves to be around people. She handles being around other dogs on a case by case basis - some she falls in love with, and some she's not terribly thrilled over. Her only fault is that she suffers from seperation anxiety, and she cries and barks incessently when left alone. However, she has never been destructive, no matter how upset she may have felt."

He continues:
"I have to give her up because I had to change my employment, and now I'm not able to care for her as before."
I don't know -- maybe it's me, but this girl's story strikes me kind of hard --
-- he is the only one she has ever known, trusted and loved, and now she must go.

Here is little Zoe, at her Dad's old job, being a sweetheart.
Please consider her for a special adoption. I get so many calls about puppies, and hardly none about adults --
-- please buck the trend and show this little girl that life can be fair.
