Judy is a Southern Angel for these babies, and for that we salute her! |
Click on the logo below to fill out an adoption application!

Below are two Southern pups that were at absolute dead-ends in their lives, except for their rescuer-angel, Judy.
Judy did what many others would never do for such a breed -- she spent her own money to nurture these two back to care, and got them ready for their forever homes --
-- now you're next in line for helping these loves!

Sunshine
She had the worst case of mange when I got her. I can send before pictures of you'd want them. She is all healthy now.
She is about a year old, spayed, up to date on all shots and heart worm negative and on preventive as are all of my dogs.
What you're seeing is the "after" of Sunshine --
-- here's the before...

Horror, to me --
:(
Judy writes --
This was taken when she was found on 8-17-06.
She was under someone's porch where she had crawled to die.

This mange has been totally treated, and Sunshine will not see a recurrence of it, as long as she is responsibly owned.
By responsible ownership, I mean a healthy diet and a happy, stress-free home.
Much of mange occurs when pups' immune systems go low, for many reasons, including poor diet and stress. At that point, their bodies are unable to fight the parasites in their skin, and these parasites soon take over.
With proper (and expensive) treatment, the pups are treated effectively.

And today, 6 weeks later, Sunny is better, smiling, and a little chubby -- I love it!
So, next is where you come in, the loving, responsible home.
Will adopting Sunshine increase your FICO score? Probably not. Will she clean the house while you're at work? Likely no --
-- but she will give you the endless joy of knowing you did some real good in this world by helping this girl -- that you picked up the reins where Judy left off in Sunny's recovery--
-- and that's what life is all about, in a way -- being part of the experience to make this world a better place, step by step.
If you're interested, and up for the responsibility of a loving dog, fill out an application above!
THANK YOU, JUDY!

Buster
This is Buster. He is about a year old and, again, we don't think he is pit because we have his mother who is obviously a Boxer mix but Buster is a mix of a mix and has more of the Pit look.
He is neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm negative and on preventive.

If you're up to really being proud of your pup and also of yourself for your new adoption --
