Lisa writes --

"Meet Bobby and Judi.  They were rescued last week from 2 teenage boys that were arrested for their mis-treatment.  Fortunately, Bobby was rescued before they could hurt him.  Judi was not as lucky.  She was found chained and tied, her ears cropped to her head  still bleeding, her tail docked - both were "do it yourself" jobs.

As their abusers seemed to have friends very motivated to steal them back from the small town pound were they were being kept, I decided to board them at my vet's office until you have the space for them in the next few weeks.  They will be totally vetted and spay/neutered.

Judi and Bobby share the same kennel, they share food (even though they are both very thin), they are learning to play and chase tennis balls, will give kisses and will allow you to pet them for hours.  They have seen the worst that life has to offer but are both learning that people can be loving and tender."

Well, Lisa has given these loves shelter from the storm --

-- NEXT is where you come in --

-- AND as a furtherance of their "sunny days ahead" mantra, I will include 6 months of complimentary raw dog food for these babies to the approved adoptive home.

SO, how's THAT for wonderful?

These two can be adopted together or separate -- I prefer them adopted out separately. Either way, the food offer holds -- !!

THANK YOU, Lisa, for showing Bobby and Judi that life can be good, and tell Judi she's a beautiful girl!

Also, to all the Thanksgiving suburbanite family-members who sit around the table and say to you, "You like pit bulls? They're bad dogs" -- well, just show them this story --

-- and ask them who the bad ones really are -- and even try to get out of them how they think these "boys" will ever become real "men" after such heinous acts --
