Blaze came from a high-kill shelter deep in Ohio --

-- due to some great shelter staff and some dedicated rescuers, he's on his way to easy street -- !!

His foster momma writes --

"In the short time he has been here he has opened up so much and is beginning to show his true nature.

I noticed that though he is not dog aggressive in my home, he very well may be when approached by other dogs.

He gets along fine with children, no matter the size, and doesnt mind cats. Hes not at all needy when it comes to attention, but loves loves loves to be petted and loved on."

"I'm so glad he was apparently who I was supposed to have because being here has just done amazing wonders with him. I wouldn't think twice about placing him in a home with another dog, though if a male, submissive would be best. Also, children would not be an issue for him, I dont believe.

He walks beautifully on leash and doesnt pull a bit. I've begun working with him on basic commands and he is picking it all up rather quickly. "

"I'm not sure if your aware, but I have not taken mine to obedience training, haven't had the cash, but have found a place who offers classes pretty cheap so I will be taking Jesse, since shes my most stubborn, in the next week or so and will use what I learn on my others."
