Kristin writes --

"Hi, my name is Kristin and I am "babysitting" a pitbull right now. He was my friend's dog and she didn't have the time for him or the patience to take care of him. He is really a big baby and loves to cuddle up close to you whenever you are home. He will follow you and I just don't think she made the time to play with him. So she went to go drop him off at a shelter where they told her flat out that they would put him to sleep. Well I couldn't let that happen. I know that the breed has a bad rep but I don't think a dogs deserves to die because somebody doesn't have "time" for him."

So I am keeping him with me for as long as I can but unfortunately won't be for very long because I am not supposed to have animals.

He is a wonderful dog. He is big and he does need a yard and that's another reason I can't keep him that long, I don't have a yard at all for him. He is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids. My own 4 year old niece plays with him and we have never had a problem. He goes on play dates with other dogs, and has lived with cats since he was born. He is almost 2 years old. I don't know what to do besides put up fliers and reach out to foster homes. I will keep him for as long as I can, but he deserves a good home with a yard and a family. Please contact me if there is anything you can do. He is already fixed and up to date on shots.

I know he's not a puppy but at heart he is!

Well, thanks to Kristin, sweet Capone has another chance -- but not for long --

-- are you interested in this big puppy? Do you have the "time" for such loving?

If so, fill out an adoption application above!
