I received the following last night about Carl, a pit bull pup in Colorado Springs --

"I just got off the phone with Marc,  and he is desperate for help in saving this boy.  He has never asked for my help before,  but this pup touched his heart.  This boy is sweet. . . Marc has done everything except the food test. 

The problem is he was injured from either a car accident of being dragged behind a car,  and his right front leg has gotten no vet care. . . he is in danger of losing it,  and they will kill him first.   Can we get him out of Colorado??? Please answer one way or the other.

Sooo... what Carl needs --

Well, he needs the following -- in this order --

 

1st - A responsible parent to adopt him. Someone who says, "Well, I have been looking for a boy like this, and I'd love to help Carl"

Level of difficulty: high

 

2nd - Transport out of Colorado

Level of difficulty: no-brainer

 

3nd - Surgery on his leg, along with a neuter surgery

Level of difficulty: no-brainer, and will be covered by rescue

 

Well this is a pretty easy fix for this boy, isn't it?

But what he needs is YOU -- you to adopt him, to nurture him back to strength, to take him to obedience, to socialize him --

-- and MOST OF ALL, to love him!
