It was late November, and we got a call that two brother pups were found in urban Cleveland --

-- in a box that was taped shut --

:(

Upon meeting up with the rescuer, we saw these boys at right, Zeke (black) and George (fawn).

They are 12 weeks old.

Who also came up for the ride, and for brighter tomorrows, was dear Bandit, a pit-mix who has never seen life outside the shelter --

-- he is 5 months old.

Well, the little boys came with sweaters, and believe me, they need them up North!

They were shivering like little babies when they got out of the tranpsort, and the sweaters, stylish and all, did them well -- !!

Here, little Zeke says,

"Oh thank you.

I am such a good boy.

All I need is a chance."

Next, our handsome adolescent, Bandit --

-- whose coloring I LOVE by the way -- !!

So, aftger our meeting these loves, and after A LOT OF LEG-WORK by our Jodi...

... they went to foster homes -- loving ones...

Two days later...

Here is little George, living it up -- !!

His foster writes --

"George" is being fostered by a friend who stepped up in a time of need - I cannot thank her (Denise) enough. She wanted to call him George.

He is super cute and cuddly although very clumsy! It look slike someone cut his whiskers off??? Could that make him clumsy? Weird.

He HATES the snow and is working on potty training...

Aww -- little whisker-less George --

-- thankfully, whiskers grow back, handsome!

Next, is handsome Zeke --

-- WHAT A LOOKER!

His foster writes --

"Zeke is a great little puppy! At 12 weeks he knows how to sit and lay down on command. He walks on a leash without pulling or lagging."

"Zeke seems only interested in making me happy and is constantly looking at me for approval.

I'm just his foster daddy.... he's going to make someone a super companion!"

Aww --

-- all's fine with Zeke, till he sees George on the horizon --

-- and then it's time for some lovin' --

-- 'Cos he's lovin', touchin'....

... anottherrr

:D

And in a moment's notice, they're at play, happy and healthy.

Well, Mr. Zeke --

-- your days of being bound in a taped box are OVER --

-- and you're gonna do GREAT -- !!

And next, to our Bandit --

-- his foster writes --

"Bandit is absolutly wonderful. Jodi said he was very excitable and mouthy when he greets you. I was thinking "well if we can deal with Maddie then Bandit won't be a problem."

"Well let me tell you, he is way more calm then Maddie. His "mouthing" is more like gumming. It kinda tickles a bit and he jumps to greet you, but settles down very easily.

He is such a big goofball and kinda lumbers around. He tries to get up on the couch and just can't seem to get his little butt up high enough to climb on, so he licks you until you notice how hard he trying to be with you. He is a big cuddly mush who is going to be a great pup for someone.

I wish Becca and I were in a bigger house cause I would love to just adopt this guy myself. Don't worry I don't plan on being part of the FF club anytime soon. But Eric............ I hope that foster agreement is in the mail cause you never know"

So, what pride we have in having such great fosters here at SPBR --

-- instead of just "helping", these people over-extended.

And now, and forever, these loves will have better lives.

George asks, "Is it really so?"

And the next picture speaks for itself -- !!

AWWWW -- !!!

Foster heaven -- !!

Here is the holy grail, boys, of bed-dom --

-- my loves, sacked out like potatoes on a Saturday morning.

Can you give these three fosters this endless love?

If so, fill out an adoption application above!
