Well, this girl's situation is a tough one -- her momma writes --

"I have a 5 year old female pitbull, Ebba who is in perfect health that is house trained. After a fight that occurred with the other dog Ebba lives with, my ex- room-mate informed me that she couldn't keep Ebba.

I can not keep Ebba due to a change in living and financial situation. I have been looking for someone to adopt her for the past three months."

"I thought I had found a good friend to take her but I found out last night that he can no longer take her.

I also was told today by my ex-room-mate(Ebba's half owner) that she wants Ebba out by the end of next week. I'm getting desperate. I have tried calling numerious shelters but many of them sound sketchy.

Ebba is not a bad dog she just got stuck with owners that have made a mess of things."

"ebba is black with a white star on her chest, she weighs from 50 to 60 lbs. she is house broken and does not chew up anything unless it is given to her. She loves being around people and gets excited quite easily.

she has a bit of a jumping problem but only with certain people, it's weird... she definitely plays off peoples energy, calm when your calm and hyper when you are worked up about something. She has a lot of energy but also is content just laying around while you do work."

Well now, if the picture at the right doesn't break your heart, not much will -- :(

This poor girl needs a great home --

-- look at the numbers -- she's an adult pit bull, teetering on "senior" status, and her coat is black --

-- she would not last at a shelter for more than a week, where she would be put down.

Well, that's why we're here -- to find Ebba a great home -- likely, an only dog home --

-- want to give her something spectacular? If so, fill out an application above!
