"Hello.  My name is Jessica and I need help finding a home for my dog.  I rescued her in 1999 and I love her so much, but my current lifestyle is not allowing her the attention and freedom she deserves.  I’ve put together a summary of her characteristics and the type of person I’d consider to be an ideal owner.  I will do whatever it takes to find her a loving home.  Can you help me?

Functionally blind – I think she sees shadows

 

Positives:

Good off the leash

Loves walks – in nature or in the city

Good in the car/on long car rides

Loves to cuddle up in bed or on couch with you

Loving and affectionate
Goofy and playful

Loyal and protective

 

Things to Look Out For:

Not good with squealing children

Not good with other dogs when on the leash – she is fine off the leash

Has severe separation anxiety

Cannot be crated

 

Ideal Owner:

No small children

No other dominant dogs

No cats

Home most of day or has outdoor dog facilities

Patient and loving

Experienced dog owner

Previous experience with breed

Plenty of time and energy to devote to well-being"
