Here's Kali, a dear pup who is definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Her rescuer writes --

"Hello Eric --

I have rescued a Pit Bull puppy in Ontario. I got this puppy off the streets from irresponsible owners that bred them for the wrong reasons. I am not able to keep it because of the stupid ban but i had it for one week and taught her the basic commands and it was being socialized with 3 other dogs.

It is at the Animal Services and i am trying really hard for any rescue shelter to take her and to find her a good home. Please try your best because this is an exceptionally obedient dog and deserves the best treatment.

She is black with golden brindle and has a dark face with light brown eyes. Her name currently is KALI and she is 5 mos. old.

Well, Kali is in a bind -- Ontario, Canada has a breed ban, with no new pit bulls coming in, and with no adoptions occurring whatsoever.

So, we're this girl's last hope -- her main chance at survival at this tender age.

She's only 20 weeks old -- she has SO MUCH future ahead ofher with the right adopter.
