These babies hail from a shelter in upstate Connecticut --

"Alliyah is a sweet young black and white pitbull or a pitbull mix who is about 9 months old. She loves people but not other animals. Alliyah is a high energy dog. She walks fair on a leash. Alliyah is a very large puppy and enjoys jumping. Alliyah has been tied out most of her life and has had no training.

She will begin some basic obedience training in the near future focusing on Sitting on command, not jumping and loose leash walking. Alliyah does not appear to be housebroken so will need a home where someone has the time and patience to work with her."

"Continued training would be a benefit as well as a fenced in yard. Alliyah will not go to a home with small children due to her high energy level. Alliyah is a real sweety with people as she very much wants to please. She is not good with other pets and should go to a home without other pets.

Alliyah also loves the water and hanging out in the pool is her idea of fun on those hot summer days. If you too love the water, Alliyah would love to meet you... "

" Ghost (aka Paul) the Pitbull (Staffordshire Bull Terrier) is all white hence the name. He even has one blue eye and one brown eye. Ghost was turned in by his owner who was moving. He is a 3 year old unneutered male who pulls on the leash when not walked with a gentle leader. He is housebroken and knows some commands. Ghost is currently learning to walk nicely on a leash and some additional commands. He has quite a bit of energy. 

Ghost loves people and wants to please them, but the same can not be said about other dogs and cats. He needs a home without other pets... "

These are the kind of people I really like -- the people in the shelters, trying to save the adults who are not-so-cute as puppies, but who still have personalities and joys of their own to give.
