Here is little Kodi, who was adopted by his mother as a puppy -- |
Here he is as a young man, probably at five months --
-- as you can see, he is well-cared for, and he has a beautiful coat --
|
|
And baby's getting big here, probably at 8 months --
-- real big -- !!
|
|
|
This is the picture that did it for me --
-- this is an accident waiting to happen --
|
Kodi was rescued from his first living situation by Geneva, who realized he wasn't getting the life a young dog should have.
Here he is, in his foster home, loud and proud -- !!

Geneva writes --
"I am sorry that this is ending up this way. This is an emergency for us. We need to get out of our apartment, we can't do it with the dog. He was dumped on us and then us we tried to handle it and we couldn't. We didn't ask for this dog, we didn't ask for this responsibility and then give up. We were put in a rough situation and now we are doing what we know is better for him."
|
So, Geneva is doing right by this boy, but he is active, and he needs a full-time home --
-- she continues --
"He did live with a cat and never tried to hurt her but always wanted to play with her and soemtimes seemed to forget that he was about 60 pounds heavier than her haha and sometimes got too rough just due to his size. He seems to be interested in other dogs, except for when the dog has been in his house and near his food."

|
"But in terms of playing and running with other dogs he has been fine.
Erin just didn't care anymore and the minute we told her we would try to take him and help out if she was having trouble (because we care about him and didn't want him just to be dumped somewhere) she basically did everything she could to get him to our house as soon as possible. I am sorry that she is irresponsible but this was her problem, dumped on me, and we seriously can't do it anymore. I have my own responsiblities that I chose to have, and this responsibility I didn't choose.
If I could do it, I would. But like I said, this is an emergency situation where we absolutely need to get out of the house to show it and move out and we cannot do that with a dog."

So, here is a good dog, and a good samaritan (Geneva) --
-- and there will be a GREAT forever home --
-- YOU -- !!
There are MANY advantages to adopting a one year-old over a puppy -- they're already housebroken, they're already grown, and they seem to "know" you saved them -- just ask my Spud -- !!
If you're interested in giving this boy "forever" and want to help him shed a few pounds, as he shows you love like no other, fill out an adoption app today -- !!
