Lil' Bit has a lil' challenge in her life -- but that doesn't stop her from loving LOTS -- !!

Click on the logo below to fill out an adoption application!

Here's Lil' Bit, a girl in a Southern high-kill shelter --

-- her guardian angel writes --

"Lil' Bit is a sweet, young girl, whom we think is a pit bull mix. She is a small-medium sized dogs (height wise) but is very stocky and nice and fat from having puppies. She loves children and all people, is great with other dogs (especially puppies) and comes when called. She loves everyone and everything, but can be protective of her babies. She is living with a five year old child."

"She has had her puppies taken away from her (they were adopted) and took in two other litters.

She was so torn from getting her litter that she gave birth to taken away, that she doesn't like anyone to take away her "new" puppies. She would never hurt you though.

She had some sort of a bad past, we do not know what happened, but she was either beat or born the way she is--she has one very small leg that has something wrong with it."

"She does not walk on this leg, we do not know if it should be amputated or not.

Her leg does not stop her though, this is a great dog that you do not want to miss out on! At the moment, she is in South Carolina but could be transported to her new home if somebody is interested in her.

Hurry--this girl doesn't have much time left!"

OKAY -- so Lil' Bit is quite the sweetheart! How people could breed this dog is a a question for another time, but right now she needs a GREAT HOME -- !!

She will be fully vetted before her placement, including her spay and a veterinary judgment on her front right leg -- if need be, it will be amputated before her placement. Three-legged dogs can often be the apple of their owners' eye, just ask Kelli and Keith with BROOKLYN -- !!

Okay, are you ready for lots of love, and to give this girl back some of the kindness she has shown others?

IF SO, fill out an application above!
