David recently sent me the flyer to the left for Lucy, a girl he rescued in NYC.

He writes -- "Hello Eric, I was given your email address by Coco. She saw an ad that I placed looking for a home for a beautiful Pit Bull who I rescued off of a Brooklyn rooftop. She was having a terrible time on that roof, left out all winter long and dodging the sun in the summer."

"Anyway, I couldn't take it any longer and so kidnapped her form her Russian owners and took her to the vets. Sure enough, upon inspection, she was very sick indeed. The vet said that she would have been dead within the week."

"A cyst the size of a mans fist was removed from her uterus and she was slowly nursed back to health. Lucy is now in need of a forever home and Coco thought you might be able to help in some way."

And David recently writes --

"She is an amazing dog and very much needs (and deserves) a good loving forever home. No changes as yet, still looking like a man possessed.

I'm sure you're all too aware of the nasty people out there who'll use a dog for bait etc."

"Thank you again Eric, I've received so much support on this, I am deeply touched by it all. I only hope I can find a home for her before I leave, the end of February. I've been looking for 3 months but things are only just starting to move.

Well, if you couldn't tell, David is a professional photographer -- and these are some wonderful pictures!

I always say to people tring to place pups that GOOD pictures get dogs adopted -- bad ones don't -- !! Well, here he certainly fulfilled that mission!!
