Scratch & Sniff
Well, talk about PRECIOUS!
I have worked with Sherry in NH before on Nibbles and his placements --
-- she writes of these girls --
"Hey Eric,
Any interest in cross posting these 2 sweet little girls? How are things in the pitt world.
We are still swamped with Katrina dogs and ever other rescue under the sun.
Hope you are well!!!!!!!!!
Have a great day!
Sherry"

Well, little Scratch and Sniff certainly are Princesses -- !!
I wrote Sherry for more infos, especially to see if they're deaf --
-- white bully-breeds are often deaf, genetically, and more on deaf dogs can be found here.

RT
Here's sweet little RT -- Sherry writes --
"My name is RT and I was rescued by Puppy Angels after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. I have been in a kennel in NH for about 6 months and am still looking for my forever home.
I am a big, loving, goofy dog and would love to be able to finally settle down with a family of my own and shower them with affection."
|
|
"I am active and can be very energetic at times, but maybe that's just because I spend so much time in the shelter. Some dogs find me kind of annoying, because I play a little rough. I love cuddling, hiking, playing in the snow and playing in the water.
Oh yeah, I might be a mix of Mastiff or St. Bernard, but your guess is as good as mine. And they think I'm probably 1-2 years old."

Interested in these babies?
Can you show them a life like their predecessors couldn't?

July 2006 update!
|
Well, Ms. Scratch got adopted, as did Ms. Sniff (aka, Luna) -- but Luna came back --
:(
|
Her rescuer writes --
"Luna got returned.
The people that adopted her have a miniature rat terrier type and think she's too rough for her…which was my concern from the beginning. If you want, we would appreciate you posting her again…but it's not a big deal if you don't have room.
She is a sweetie and just needs some training, so I think she'd do better with no small children or small dogs."
|
|
|
Well, so, Ms. Luna proved herself just what she is --
-- a BIG PUPPY!
So, the ideal (and only!) adopter will be someone willing to take her to obedience, someone without small kids or small pets, and someone who wants to commit to a playful little girl!
|
She further writes --
"Luna and her sister came to us from a high kill shelter in Virginia. She is a beautiful girl, with amazing green eyes.
Even though white pit bulls can be deaf, Luna has no problems with her hearing.
Luna is crate-trained and very close to being completely housetrained, but could use some basic obedience training. She is a puppy and may be a little too rough for small children and small dogs."
|
|
|
So, Ms. Luna is a REAL beauty, and is a girl looking for that special owner --
-- do you have the energy, time and commitment for dear Luna?
-- if so, fill out an application above!!
