Teeny is unfortunately in a state that has very strict adoption rules for pit bulls, so most of them are killed in shelters under a "rather be safe than sorry (or liable)" guise --

She is 8-weeks old, was a stray and is a pit-mix -- how she got "out" is beyond me, but that was her apparent ticket to safety --
