In late Summer, we got a call from the NYC Animal Control saying they found a pit bull stray with an "eye issue" named Timmy --

-- and that he was scheduled for euthanasia by week's end if no foster could be found.

Here is Timmy's picture as he was found...

And below, in New York City, is the area he was picked up --

-- NOT the country, where he wasn't around people -- quite to the contrary.

My opinion is that people either did this to his eye OR they saw him in this debiliated state and ignored him -- or BOTH --

-- and nobody did anything -- :(

Well, our foster saint Jen in Rochester NY said she could foster him, and at right is how he came from the NYC clinic -- all prettied up, and very much a normal and adoptable pup - !!

-- a pretty cow-brindle, and only about 40 lbs.

What I love here is Jen's willingness to foster Timmy -- lest he suffer euthanasia with his eye out of socket, without veterinary care -- :(

Once SPBR offered to foster Tim, he was vetted proper!

So, here's our boy --

-- very much having forgiven the cruel souls who scarred his face, and who ignored his condition.

He is very much a puppy, and loves other dogs and people very much -- just not cats -- !!

He functions like a full-seeing dog -- that we'll guarantee!
