Tucker is sweet as a pea and is all fixed up -- here's where you come in -- !!

Here is Tucker, who I had the chance to stop by and meet not too long ago. He is a sweetheart of a boy, in a great foster home. His foster mom writes --

"Tucker came from a high-kill shelter in the South with a full-blown case of heartworm.  He has been treated for this and is now a healthy big boy at about 70 pounds and 3 years old."

"Tucker is most likely a mix of chocolate lab and pitbull, and he has a beautiful brown coat with white markings.  He will be sent home to his new family neutered, and with all vaccinations up to date. 

He is just an awesome boy who would be good for just about any family."

"He is living in harmony with 4 other dogs in his foster home, and he gets along with them beautifully. 

He really enjoys the company of other dogs, and would probably appreciate a canine companion in his new home."

"He has exhibited some mild food and goody posessiveness, so he would need to be separated at mealtime and when he has high-value treats. 

Tucker knows how to sit when asked, and he is fully housebroken."

"He loves to snuggle and receive love.  He loves a good romp in the yard, but is willing to settle right down once he comes inside. 

He's very adaptable to the energy level of the household, which is a wonderful trait in any dog."

"He is just an all-around good guy who deserves a wonderful new home. 

Tucker's adoption fee is $250.00, and goes to help defray his veterinary expenses."

Well, Tucker is certainly, handsome, and he is healthy as can be --

-- treatment for heartworm such as his often costs around $500 -- well over his adoption fee --

-- obviously, he was well worth any money amount to his foster mom, and that says a lot!

So while Tuck is "all fixed up", he's still lacking his critical element --
