Hoagie is finally HOME !!

Here's dear Hoagie, now named Sketch, shortly after he came in to rescue.

Hoagie was originally found tied to a park bench, abandoned, in a Boston suburb. Tim, an SPBR adopter, coordinated his safe flight out of the park and in to rescue!

It didn't take long for Hoagie to fall right in to being a little man at rescue, being a model pit bull, and brushing up on his "adoption pointers" -- :D

Next, enter the perfect adopters -- Beth, a Latin teacher at a CT prep school, who adopted Boo from SPBR -- and Beth's boyfriend, JT, looking for a special boy to be Boo's boyfriend! Here's Beth and Boo...

After their first meeting, they're as cool as cucumbers in the car, each with their own section in the crate, putting the divider panel to good use -- !!

... and the lovers touch...

OOPS -- busted! We were caught spying on their moment -- !!

Anyway, here's Beth, the babies, and their new dad, JT...

... JT admires his boy...

... and Hoagie replies in kind...!

Fast-forward a few months... everything has grown with Hoagie -- he is re-named Sketch, he fills out nicely, and he has turned in to an obvious love-bug -- !!

Here's the family, happy and content, enjoying the Christmas holiday...!

Beth writes:

"Everyone loves them, and let me tell you, they love everyone! We still start everyday with a 4 mile walk (they wear sweaters and gear if it's too cold!) so that they sleep peacefully while we're at school. Then the fun starts!"

She continues :

"Whether Boo accompanies me to basketball practice or Sketch is running through the art studio, they both look forward to a cuddle by the fireplace just after dinner. They play hard and love each other even harder- what a perfect match. Boo is the quick one (physically and mentally) and sketch is the big slow lug, as he just waits for Boo to tire herself out."

Well, a big THANK YOU to Beth and JT -- stories like that make my day!

A big THANK YOU to all the wonderful people out there who made Sketch's life a success -- instead of ending up another fated pit bull in the MSPCA, he instead lives in the lap of luxury, loved and loving -- !!!
