Well, here's a story to show that all endings don't come up bad --

-- this is from a dear rescuer friend of mine, Summer, in Tennessee --

-- she writes --

"I am attaching pictures of our ten year old Pit, Petunia, she is our love and is a constant reminder of what these dogs truly are: smiling clowns with all the affection and devotion in the world to give! The first picture is of Petunia in the terrible shape we found her in at a local pound the day she was to be killed, we snatched her out of there and never looked back.

The next two pictures are of 'Tuni' in her new coat, getting prepared for the winter that will not come to Tennessee for at least another two months."

"Petunia is wearing her 'Doggles' as well which were recommended by our veterinary ophthalmologist for an eye condition Tuni suffered from when rescued. Her pupils are always dilated so these handy and stylish little glasses make going for walks and car rides on a sunny day a lot more fun.

Since then Tuni's allergies have been addressed as have all of her many other health issues and she is fully 'haired' again and as happy as a Bully girl can be.

Well now, to see this girl absolutely go from RAGS to RICHES is encouraging, especially considering all the extra veterinary steps Summer took with dear Tuni to address her specific conditions --
