Little Onyx took a while to find his niche, but now he's not gonna ever look back!! |
Well, here's the happy ending of our little man, Onyx, who came with his two brothers from an urban animal control --
-- he was slated for death when his guardian angel momma said, "STOP -- puppies shouldn't die" and got him to rescue --
-- to the right is Onyx in the Adirondacks, fjording the Ausable River...

Here is Ony reveling in the forget-me-nots of spring --
-- well, little man, you weren't forgotten -- !!
|
Onyx required socialization upon coming to rescue --
-- because of the disease risk at the shelter, neither he nor his brothers were held at all --
-- you can see here that he was right in the thick of playing with my four -- preccie, elvie, spudder and thor --

At the home-visit, he has a final few tugs with his pal, Merle, an Ohio happy ending, viewed here -- |
Although it was a heartfelt departure, neither of these boys was willing to give up the tug toy -- !! |
|
And here's our little man, cool as a cucumber, sporting a matching collar and home forever --
-- note the tile floors, too -- PERFECT for housebreaking -- !!

Here's Ony with his parents, Kate and Nick -- both with prior breed experience, and a real love for Onyx and pit bulls in general --
-- THANK YOU to everyone for making Onyx's survival a reality!
