Amy didn't plan on triplets... but things have been a joy ever since!!

Well, here's the girl that started it all, little Lexi, in Kentucky, a rescue I had cross-posted on my site.

Amy, from CT, contacted me and said she HAD to adopt this princess. Not a problem, but logistics weren't easy, getting a transport from KY to CT...

... so, Amy took it upon herself to go on a road-trip and rescue Lexi herself!!

I asked her, if she was able, to pick up two rescues, a momma and son, in WV, who were in awful straits. Liyah (left) and Tank (below) were dumped at a vet's office, and the "owners" didn't pay their bill, so the vet, running out of kennel space, was keeping them in cat crates -- !!!

Here's Tank, the little sweetheart, who was picked up along with his momma for their flight to safety... and more stretching room -- !!

Amy and her cousin documented their travels, making the journey more an odyssey, with car and lodging challenges!

... oops, I forgot about the brake problems -- lucky for her, she caught them in time!

... more travels...

... it looks like Amy caught up with a lot of family, too, making the journey a great one in many ways -- !!

SO, back in CT, little Katie is re-named Lexi, and she settles right in --

Along the route home, Amy became so attached to Liyah and Tank that she decided to adopt them, too -- !!

Next, enter Liyah -- she looks WONDERFUL!!

Here's Amy, loving on her girl, Liyah --

Momma Liyah chewing on a knuckler...

... and you can tell she's happy and content... far away from the "owners" who dumped her and her son at the vet...

... here she is with her son, Tank, who is HUGE compared to her -- look at his swank collar -- !!

... and Liyah is happy... letting me arrange and re-arrange her for her photo debut --

Next, we see baby Tank... all grown up -- !!

... and Tanker's a ham... and a beauty, too -- !!

Tank's a love for the camera, and he proves that brindle can be THE color of choice -- !!

.. not to be solely aesthetic, little Tanker shows off his latest accomplishment -- !!

... and the family falls in for a photo...

... after a bit, little Lexi comes out again, saying "ya know, if it weren't for me...."

... and Lexi and Tanker enjoy some play time...

... and a happy family they have become -- again, a big THANK YOU to wonderful adopters like Amy, who allow these lovely beings to become the best they can be!
