We drove some... and then some more -- and it was worth it! |
So, it was the end of summer, and I had burned about all I could legally burn back at the pond... |
... so it was time for some pup and ferret placements, and before I knew it, Spud and I were off to Syracuse, NY -- :D |
First up, we meet with Rachel, and her rescued ferret, Pogo. |
Pogo was found a STRAY in Connecticut, and Rachel was kind enough to take him in -- !!
From our forum, Rachel posted this boy for adoption, and ours truly, Courtenay said, "Well, my son been asking for a ferret for about four years now..."
So, before we knew it, Pogo was headed home to Buffalo.
And don't forget, too, two of the mini-moos, Doris and Dinah, came for their east-coast placements.
Little Dinah now rests her head in Jersey, and Doris is soon to be home in northeast PA -- !!
Everything worked like clock-work -- great applications came in on these girls, home visits were done, and placements made -- !!
On a colorful note, Rachel has many tattoos, and she is a bona fide dog lover -- that's for sure -- !! |
Her commitment goes quite deep, and this ink is quite the beauty.
Ummm, hi.
I am a little tongue-twisted at such body-art -- we'll leave it at that -- !!
So, after much driving and planning, three little souls are going to sleep in different states than they woke up in.
That's for the better, and it proves that there are a lot of great, committed people out there -- STILL -- !!
Thanks, all!
