These babies' little journeys have just begun -- !!

Five of the puppies were placed over this past weekend, all to wonderful, caring homes --

-- here begins their journeys --

First, little Emma --

-- here at her new home with her momma on an early Sunday morning --

-- Emma is part of the Jersey litter, an exceptionally gentle and demure group --

-- and here she is with her parents, bathed and ready to face the day -- !!

She now hails from Pennsylvania and enjoys her wooded back yard -- !!

Next to Tony, also now in Pennsylvania, loving on his new momma, Michelle --

The new family poses --

-- and quickly breaks in to laughter --

-- Tony's come a long way from another "1-of-12" shelter pit bull litter --

-- now he's 1-of-1, and nothing short of a rock-star -- !!

Next, to Coal --

-- a one-off shelter pit bull from Ohio, whose black coat, breed and birth-state gave him a pretty dark future --

-- now all that has changed, with Kim and her son, who recently lost their dog of 10 years to heart failure --

You can see that Coal wasted NO time at all finding the cat's toys --

-- and raising a reasonable amount of hell -- !!

Coal has a new best friend, and he's made one family's days many the brighter...

On to Agda, who decided the Greenwich CT life fit her just fine --

-- her momma is a reading teacher at a local elementary school, and since she works half-days, little Agda is guaranteed many a playful afternoon -- !!

Next to Trot, who now hails from Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn --

-- his parents, Elsie and Henry are both from NYC, and believe in their new neighborhood so much that they built their home there -- !!

Elsie is quite the creative type, and she didn't stop with Trot --

-- his future's looking bright, that's for sure --

-- now all he has to do is agree to some "terms of commitment" with kitty -- !!

Trot's new dad was enamored with him, and needless to say, the feeling was mutual --

Trot's new bed --

-- all Trot has to say is, "Ummm... any questions??!!"

That is by far the nicest bedding I have ever seen in a crate -- !!

So there we have it -- 5 little souls are now home, and the kindness and love of their parents make it all worth it --

-- the home-visits are a celebration of these pups' lives -- for me, seeing how far they've come, and with their parents, seeing how far they'll go --

-- THANK YOU, ALL!
