Here's momma Karma, who came to her DC foster home with her 8 babies to boot --

The things moms go through to take care of their young -- !!

Here, Karma is showing us mother's little helper --

-- PUPPY KIBBLE!

Now that the puppies are weaned, Karma can go about looking for her forever home, and tending to her girlish figure -- !!

Karma shows obvious delight at such a thought, and says,

"Want to see the hell-raisers"??!!

-- there's no question that they ARE cute as a button --

-- but puppies are a LOT of work -- for the mommas, for their foster homes, and for their eventual adopters.

I always encourage adopting adult dogs to the busier households -- or to people that don't have the time or interest to potty-train, and for someone who wants to know how their dog will act and look when it is full-grown --

-- the obvious answer is often an adult-dog adoption!

But, while we're here, we'll revel in a bit of puppydom --

-- the smells, the grunts, the cuddling --

-- and back to business --

-- both momma and all her babies are up for adoption!
